eGrace – 6/7/2018

Hey, Grace’rs,

This weekend we dive back into our series, Would the Real God Please Stand Up? One of the ways God is often defined is in terms of who God’s enemies are, and making sure that God’s enemies are our enemies, and making doubly sure that our enemies are God’s enemies. This week’s story feeds into that belief but with a surprising twist! Families with last names starting with G-K have the food table this weekend.

Saturday, July 7, after the 5 pm worship service: Chocolate Buffet and Water Balloon Games! Bring your favorite chocolate dessert to worship with you and we’ll indulge after the service and cool off with a few quick water balloon games.

Coming Up:

June 16/17: We honor all the dads and men of Grace

June 23/24: Would the Real God Please Stand Up? Why did God throw Jonah into that whale?

June 30/July 1: Would the Real God Please Stand Up? When the Heavens Declare the Glory of God, what is it they Declare about God and God’s Glory?

The month of July: Ask Pastor Tim. We’ve not done this for awhile. For several of the weekends of July your questions will set the agenda for the message. Send your questions to Jeff@boldrecklessgrace.org and he will choose the top 5 questions. I will answer them sight unseen (at least at the Saturday@5 service).

The month of August: Helping Homes Thrive. Topics: Screen Time. Faith Time. Play Time. Soul Time. Face Time.

Also Coming Up:

Vacation Bible School@Grace: June 18-22. 4 years to 6th grade. For the first time in Grace’s history, we are now at 100 kids who have been registered for VBS. Volunteer training will be after each of the worship services this weekend. If you volunteer and you haven’t signed up your kids or Grandkids for VBS yet, we’ll allow you to register them at the Volunteer Training, as long as you are planning to volunteer for VBS.
