This weekend, we celebrate Palm Sunday. We will continue our series: Would the Real God Please Stand Up? by looking at what the cross reveals to us about the real God. While Christians believe the cross is where we see the real God, over the centuries we’ve created layers of misunderstanding about God even around the cross. I continue to hear a lot of good energy around this series and this weekend promises to be another compelling look at God. Families with last names starting with S-Z have the food table this weekend.
And don’t forget our After Saturday@5 Dinner: The food has been fantastic. And at $2.00 per person, $5.00 for families of 3 or more…you can’t beat it. We’ll be setting up extra tables on Saturday due to the response we’ve been getting!
If you missed the Story of Sacrificing the Promise this past weekend, you can view it here.

Did God kill Jesus? Did Jesus have to die so that God could forgive us? Was the death of Jesus God’s way of venting his anger at us? Or…is there something deeper and more reckless going on?
See you this weekend.
