Stressed and worn out from chasing Christmas this year? This weekend we look at our final Christmas Song of the Advent Season in our series, Christmas Goes to the Radio: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. God has a big promise for you that will make that hope come true! Families with last names starting with L-R have the food table this weekend.
Christmas Eve at Grace:
Saturday, December 23: Christmas Eve services at 3 and 5 with a live petting zoo between services.
Sunday Morning, December 24: The Grace annual Christmas Party at 8:45 and 10:15
Sunday Evening, December 24: Christmas Eve services at 3:30, 5:30 and 7:30 (communion and outdoor candlelight service)
With almost 2000 people coming to celebrate Christmas with us, we have the chance to let them know that Grace is a place of grace. There are lots of opportunities for Gracer’s to make a difference on Christmas Eve weekend, so please email Kendrah at Volunteer@BoldRecklessGrace.org to let her know which Christmas Eve service you are coming to and where she could plug you and your family in. We need greeters, ushers, parking lot team, security, communion servers, Info Table and Taste of Grace Volunteers.

Tax-free IRA withdrawals for charity
Anyone over 70-1/2 may take tax-free distributions of up to $100,000 from a traditional IRA if the money is distributed directly to an eligible charity. While retirees can’t also take a deduction for that contribution, the money won’t count as income. So it won’t hurt when it comes to other taxes, such as those imposed on Social Security benefits when income exceeds a certain level.
Those contributions would be directed to:
Community of Grace Lutheran Church (If they request our Fed ID #20-2336497)
10561 W Pinnacle Peak Rd. Peoria AZ 85383
