Year End Gifts
This is a reminder that all contributions for 2017 need to be received by our office, posted online or postmarked by December 31, 2017.

The office will be closed from December 25 until January 2, so if you’re making your contribution in person, you’ll want to put your contribution into the offering basket on December 30/31

For your convenience, you could do online giving by going to our website at and go to the More Tab to scroll down to Online Giving.

Or, you could use TEXT giving: (623) 295-2484

Tax-free IRA withdrawals for charity

Anyone over 70-1/2 may take tax-free distributions of up to $100,000 from a traditional IRA if the money is distributed directly to an eligible charity. While retirees can’t also take a deduction for that contribution, the money won’t count as income. So it won’t hurt when it comes to other taxes, such as those imposed on Social Security benefits when income exceeds a certain level.

Those contributions would be directed to:

Community of Grace Lutheran Church (If they request our Fed ID #20-2336497)
10561 W Pinnacle Peak Rd. Peoria AZ 85383
