Faith.Forward! – 1/27/2019

Hey, Grace’rs,

Your Faith.Forward! Assignment: Set Aside. Each week, set aside $10. Make an account in your ledger to record it. Or take out $10 from the bank and put it in a drawer…however you keep track of it. At the end of the year you have $520 saved! And make sure to give 10% of it to your favorite charity. Also, check out this very easy way to bring sanity to your finances:

FAITH5: Tonight and every night before you head to bed spend some time with those you love and do this faith-building experience together (or, do it alone as a time of before bed devotions, keeping a journal and recording the following as an act of prayer):

01ShareIcon Share… One high and one low from your day.
02ReadIcon Read… I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. —The Apostle Paul Philippians 4:11-13
03TalkIcon Talk… What does it look like, feel like, to be content? What makes you content? How does Paul inspire you or challenge you with his understanding of contentment? What is his secret (by the way, he’s writing this while in prison!)
Pray… for each other.
Bless… each other by affirming one thing you like about the other person. Bless each other by making the sign of the cross on each person, saying: The LORD bless you and keep you.
