This weekend: We continue our new series: God, Money, and the Sexes. Consider it a Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus look at how we as men and women deal with the issue of money. This Saturday and Sunday: He wants to Fix it…She wants to Talk about it. I highly recommend you purchase the program created by our friend Shaunti Feldhahn and her husband Jeff: Men, Women, and Money. It includes a video and workbooks.

Our After Saturday@5 Dinners return this Saturday with a big, boffo special: A Chili Cook-Off! Bring your favorite Chili to share and/or your appetite to enjoy and vote on the best chili of the night. This is a fund-raiser for our upcoming Feed My Starving Children food pack in March.

20 years ago this coming February BJ performed for the first time at Community Church of Joy (the church that birthed Grace). To celebrate 20 years of concerts with us we’re going to do something special. I’ll be interviewing BJ about his life and career and he’ll sing many of his hit songs. (We are the only church where he performs!)
