20th Anniversary Project

For the Good!
Celebrating 20 Years of Bold, Reckless Grace

So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all and especially for
those of the family of faith. (Galatians 6:10 NRSV)

Next year, March 27, 2025 we will celebrate our 20th Anniversary.
To mark this special occasion, we want to do something For the Good of God’s work in the
world—something worthy of 20 years of ministry. Something tangible.
Something For the Good of:

          • Creation
          • Mission
          • Our ongoing ministry

We have the opportunity to put solar panels on the roof of the worship center!

Our goal is to raise $220,000 (see the tie-in with our 20th Anniversary?)
          • $20,000 for mission
          • $200,000 for the solar panels

It’s good for the environment! It’s good for mission!
It’s good for our ongoing ministry!

          • $24,000 yearly savings to the ministry as a result of the solar panels
          • A tax credit back between 20%-30% of total cost of solar panels to be put into a
            maintenance fund

Would you prayerfully consider a gift (one-time/weekly/monthly) over the next 12 months, over
and above what you give now, and be a part of this 20th Anniversary project? (Below are some
ways you can give something extra.)

Commitment weekend is March 24, our 19th Anniversary. Obviously, you can make your
commitment before that. However you choose to give, please make sure your gift is
designated to For the Good.

We can do something good that will last for decades.
Thanks for being a part of it!

Ways to Give a Generous Gift

All of us can be a part of this big celebration.

Every gift matters. Every contribution makes a difference.

(Reminder: This gift is in addition to your ongoing support of our daily mission. If we
all were to split our giving we’d end up with solar panels but no ministry!)

Here are some practical ways you can be a part of this 20th Anniversary Adventure:

          1) Skip one cup of coffee a week and donate that to this project.
Or—give up your daily coffee run for one month or more.
(The average American spends $1,100 a year on Starbucks. And that doesn’t include other coffee-type

          2) Cut out one streaming service for the next year.
(The average family spends at least $75 per month on streaming services.)

          3) Gift stock.

          4) Cut your vacation by one day and give what you’d save that
               day to For the Good!

          5) Skip one restaurant/fast food meal a week.
(The average American family spends 10% of their annual income on fast food.)

          6) Set aside $1 a day for the next 365 days.

          7) Skip that Virgin Atlantic trip to outer space this year.
(Average price about $450,000!)

          8) Drink only water at restaurants.
Calculate what you save each time and donate it.

          9) Ask God what God would have you give.
Then watch how God provides through you.
