All-Family Fall PHASE Kick-Off Event
Sunday, August 29th @ 11:30am
Families with children birth – 12th Grade will gather on campus to celebrate the beginning of a NEW season of Family Ministry at Community of Grace! Come and learn about our K-12 fall programs, which begin September 12th, and find out what PHASE is all about. Bring the kids – this is for them, too! Nursery will be available for children birth – Pre-K. For more information, contact Brita: brita@boldrecklessgrace.org

While you’re on vacation this month, Community of Grace is working overtime on exciting opportunities for your kids (and your family) to connect with God and each other!

Nursery
Nursery care for children birth – 3 years old (not yet potty trained) will be offered during both Sunday morning worship services beginning August 8th. Check your children in when you arrive (in the lobby) before dropping them off in the Nursery (located in the rear of the worship center, on the west side). Contact Brita for details or to volunteer: brita@boldrecklessgrace.org

Pre-K Wonder Club
Our Pre-K Room will re-open on Sunday, August 8th during both worship services! Children ages 3-5 (potty trained, not yet in Kindergarten) will explore Bible stories and enjoy crafts and activities from the time we take the Noisy Offering in worship until the service ends. Check your children in when you arrive (in the lobby), then take them into worship with you. After the Noisy Offering, bring your children to the Pre-K room and pick them up after worship (or, if you prefer, at communion time). Note the NEW location of our Pre-K Wonder Club… we will meet in the (former) Lego Room on the east side of the lobby. Contact Brita with your questions or to volunteer: brita@boldrecklessgrace.org

K-5 Discovery Club
Grace’s K-5th grade Discovery Club begins Sunday, September 12th! This weekly program will take place on Sunday mornings, between worship services at Grace. Children will gather from 9:50-10:20 am for a multi-age program to include music, Scripture, crafts, and learning activities. Not only are we filling in the gap between services, but this 30-minute kids’ time will help bridge the gap between church and family, bringing Jesus’ love to life as we build relationships within our faith community. Contact Brita for details or to volunteer: brita@boldrecklessgrace.org

What is PHASE?

A phase is defined as “a timeframe in a kid’s life when you can leverage distinctive opportunities to influence their future.”

As we move toward reconnection in the coming months, Grace is gearing up to provide resources for parents and relationship ministry for kids of every phase!

Check out the PHASE blog for the “big picture” or contact Brita for details: Brita@boldrecklessgrace.org

FAMILY TIME ON-DEMAND

Beginning in March, Community of Grace will release a pre-formatted Family Time event every 2nd/4th Sunday. These segments are designed for families to self-navigate through “What’s in the Bible?,” an all-age curriculum that teaches Bible basics through fun videos (by Phil Vischer of Veggie Tales), learning games, and quizzes.

Family Time is just one of the ways Grace supports parents in their role as faith-formers! Each segment takes less than one hour from start to finish. Sessions 1-10 are already available on-demand. Click below for instant access to past episodes today!
