Outreach at Grace
Community of Grace is committed to being a part of the mission of God–bringing life, grace, hope, justice, forgiveness, and mercy to the world. We do that in various ways from the financial support of various organizations to clothing drives and school supply drives to our weekly food donations to St. John’s West Valley Community Food Bank.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Grace prayer shawl ministry is one way to tangibly reach out to others in Christian love. Individuals who enjoy knitting or crocheting have an opportunity to join the Prayer Shawl Knit/Crochet Group for creative expression and prayer in making prayer shawls for others in need of comfort or special blessing. As each prayer shawl is completed, it is dedicated by members of this group who meet twice a month and then is given to the Prayer Shawl Prayer Team whose members present the prayer shawls to recipients.
If you are interested in joining the Prayer Shawl Knit/Crochet Group of Community of Grace or want more information about how to get started making a prayer shawl, contact us at info@boldrecklessgrace.org or click the button below.
NYAMATA, RWANDA
The Grace community is privileged to have a partnership with a wonderful church community in Rwanda. In 2025, Pastor Josh and a team from Grace journeyed to Rwanda to visit our sister Lutheran church in Nyamata.
