We bring non-perishable food items to St. John’s West Valley Food Pantry on a weekly basis.
The Food Pantry is a ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Phoenix.
If you would like to donate some items, you can simply add them to the “Food Cart”
next to the Youth Coffee Bar located in our lobby at Community of Grace.
Any non-perishable items are accepted and appreciated!

The Family Meal on Sundays after the 10:30am service is available to everyone!

Youth and adult volunteers are needed to staff these exciting programs! Parents are encouraged to volunteer once a month (or more!) in any of these ministry areas:

Nursery/Pre-K
Nursery care for children birth – 3 years old (not yet potty trained) will be offered during both Sunday morning worship services.
Children ages 3-5 (potty trained, not yet in Kindergarten) will explore Bible stories and enjoy crafts and activities.
K-5
During the school year, this weekly program takes place on Sunday mornings between worship services at Grace. Children will gather from 9:50-10:20 am for a multi-age program to include music, Scripture, crafts, and learning activities. Not only are we filling in the gap between services, but this 30-minute kids time will help bridge the gap between church and family, bringing Jesus’ love to life as we build relationships within our faith community. Youth, grades 6 – 12, meet weekly on Sundays throughout the school year. Your family is invited to enjoy a light lunch with us each Sunday, right after the second service (around 11:20 am).
